How do I enter a team?
Teams are reserved on a first come, first serve basis. Teams can pay an entry fee of $250 in exchange for 25 event tickets which you may sell or provide to friends and family. What does that mean? Contact us ASAP if you would like to get involved. We had 26 teams in competition in 2009 and spots filled up fast! We’ve got a limited number of trailer spots. Refer to HomePage and Click the “Register Team Now” Button for entry instructions. Remember, you may enter your team by going to Google Checkout on this website or paying with check by completing the below Brochure and sending to our office.

How are winners selected?
Winners of the Grand Prize, 1st Runner Up and 2nd Runner Up are selected by a panel of
judges. The People’s Choice Award goes to the team that gets the most votes from the
general public.
Who are the judges?
A mixed group of locals chefs, culinary professionals, celebrities, and regular folk like
you and me.
How do I vote for my favorite BBQ?
Each ticket holder will be given two plastic pennies at the gate. Drop the pennies in the piggy banks of the teams you wish to vote for. We want your two cents!
What are the prizes?
Trophies awarded to 1st and 2nd place in each category, as well as for the overall festival winner. Cash will also be awarded in the amount of $2,500 to the Grand Champion and $1,000 to the People’s Choice this year.
Where do I park?
The parking lot adjacent to the GoldBro and the SuperPetz are open for parking. Please
do not park on Montclair Road.
Can I bring my kids?
Yep. And, they get in free! Plus, we’ve got moonbounces!
What time?
10:30AM to 2:30PM.
What are the Competition Categories?
Chicken, Ribs, Sauce and of course The People’s Choice.
What if it rains?
We’re cookin’ and eatin’ BBQ no matter what! The event is RAIN or SHINE. But,
hopefully a LOT of sunshine!
